The weather here is gorgeous and we have been busy enjoying it. We have spent the last few days with great friends, swimming, drinking, enjoying delicious edibles, sitting around a fire, playing with babies, and gazing at shooting stars.
Our friend Neil and his lovely girlfriend were here amongst other great friends this past weekend and Neil was kind enough to take several pictures of Sofia and Emma – here are some of my favourites…

Sofia and Emma are delightful as ever and I thought I would share on their progress.
They now both say “hi”, “bye, bye,” “mama,” “dada” and bahbah (means food in farsi). They also nod yes and no. They both wave and climb stairs, they love to play their piano, shake their little bottoms and wave one hand in sync with the beat, and they interact and imitate each other more than ever before. They are super at standing up and yesterday Emma managed to walk across the room holding only one of my fingers. They both have four front upper teeth and the four front lower teeth.
They’re eating just about everything, except for citrus, milk and sweeteners. They love their grandpa’s carrot soup but they especially enjoy it dipped in chunks of whole wheat bread. I have to be really careful when I feed them this cause they may literally bit my finger off they love it so much. They’re still not sure about cheese and yogurt, but I’ll continue to offer it until they hopefully start to enjoy it.
Overall, we are doing extermly well. They love spending their days with both mama and dada and especially love going for long bike rides with their dad.

I am Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous, I miss them so much , Arya mentions their name almost everyday, He misses them too, and he constantly talks about how Sofia was kissing him in Florida. They look as beautiful and happy as ever, Mashallah. l love you all. Juicy kisses to my shangool and Mangool.
