Poor little Henry. If he is only congested it sounds like you're doing everything right. My girls had the same thing at around ten weeks and I found they needed extra cuddles and needed me more. I remember how hard it was to listen to them try to breathe. I think it's harder for us than it is for them. You are doing everything you can. It will end soon. I promise. Any other advice mama's?
p.s. I'm so glad you asked this question. You have inspired me to look into creating a forum on this blog so that you can ask questions and have other lovely mama's offer advice. Stay tuned!

Hello mothers,

Does anyone have any advice to share on keeping baby comfortable when he or she has a cold? My little boy, Henry, is 10 weeks old and experiencing his first cold. He's still a happy guy and no fever, but he's pretty congested and has a bit of a cough. I've been using saline drops and a nasal aspirator to keep his nose clear and I'm keeping the air in his room moist with a warm-air vaporizer. I've also put a pillow under his mattress so he is sleeping with his head elevated. Does anyone have any wisdom to share? Nadja
